Allergic reaction

Tell your family doctor if you have any unusual or allergy to unoprostone. Also tell your health care professional if you are allergic to any other substances, such as benzalkonium chloride.

Pregnancy care

Unoprostone has not been studied in pregnant women. However, studies in pets have shown that unoprostone given by injection causes increases in the number of miscarriages. Before using this drug, make sure your family doctor knows if you are pregnant or if you may become pregnant.

Breast-feeding problem

It is not known whether unoprostone passes into human breast milk. However, it has been shown to pass into the milk of nursing pets.

Use for Children

Studies on this drug have been done only in adult diseaseds and there is no special info comparing use of ophthalmic unoprostone in child with use in other age groups.

Elderly care

This drug has been tested and has not been shown to cause various side effects or problems in elderly people than it does in adults people.
