Allergic reaction

Pregnancy care

Studies have not been done. However, tobramycin ophthalmic preparations have not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems in pets even when given at high doses.

Breast-feeding problem

Tobramycin ophthalmic preparations may be absorbed into the eye. However, tobramycin is unlikely to pass into the breast milk in large amounts and little would be absorbed by the infant. Therefore, this drug is unlikely to cause serious problems in nursing babies.

Use for Children

This drug has been tested in child and, in effective doses, has not been shown to cause various side effects or problems than it does in adults.

Elderly care

Many medication have not been studied specifically in elderly people. Therefore, it may not be known whether they work exactly the same way they do in adults people or if they cause various side effects or problems in elderly people. There is no special info comparing use of ophthalmic tobramycin in the elderly with use in other age groups.

Drug interactions
