How to Use
Apply enough
terbinafine cream to cover the effected and surrounding skin areas and rub
in gently.
Apply enough terbinafine solution to wet and cover the effected and surrounding
skin areas. Allow it to dry.
Keep this drug away from the eyes, nose, mouth,
and other mucous membranes
. The solution may be especially irritating
to the eyes.
Terbinafine spray solution contains alcohol and must not be applied to
the face.
Do not apply an occlusive dressing - airtight covering,
such as a tight bandage or plastic kitchen wrap over this drug
unless you have been directed to do so by your family doctor.
Dosage
The dose of terbinafine will be various for

Adults Use one or two times a day for seven to fourteen days.

For tinea corporis or tinea cruris:

Adults and children 12 years of age and older Use one or two
times a day for seven to twenty-eight days.

Infants and children younger than 12 years of age Use and dose
must be determined by your family doctor.

For tinea pedis - interdigital:

Adults and children 12 years of age and older Use two times
a day for seven to twenty-eight days.

Infants and children younger than 12 years of age Use and dose

For tinea pedis - plantar:

a day for fourteen days.

To help clear up your infection completely, it is
very important that you keep using terbinafine for the full time of treat
, even if your symptoms begin to clear up after a few days. Since fungus
infections may be very slow to clear up, you may have to continue using this
drug every day for few weeks or more. If you stop using this drug
too soon, your symptoms may return
Do not miss any doses
.
Missed dose If you do miss a dose of this drug, apply it
as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip
the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Storage To store this drug:

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store away from heat and direct light.

Keep the drug from freezing.

Do not keep outdated drug or drug no longer needed. Be sure
that any discarded drug is out of the reach of children.
