How to Use
Use this drug only as directed
. Do not use it more often and do
not use it for a longer period of time than recommended on the label, unless
otherwise directed by your family doctor.
Keep this drug away from the eyes
. If you
must accidentally get some in your eyes, flush them thoroughly with water.
To use the cream or lotion form
of this drug:

Before applying the drug, wash the effected areas with soap and
water and dry thoroughly. Then apply enough drug to cover the effected
areas and rub in gently.
To use the ointment form
of this drug for
seborrheic dermatitis
:

Before applying the drug, wash the effected areas with soap and
water and dry thoroughly. Then apply enough drug to cover the effected
areas and rub in gently.
To use the ointment form
of this drug for
scabies
:

Before applying the drug, wash your entire body with soap and
water and dry thoroughly.

At bedtime, apply enough drug to cover your entire body from
the neck down and rub in gently. Leave the drug on your body for 24 hours.

Before applying the drug again, you may wash your entire body.
-
24 hours after the last treat with this drug, it is important
that you thoroughly wash your entire body again.
To use the soap form
of this drug:

Work up a rich lather with the soap, using warm water. Wash the effected
areas and rinse thoroughly. Apply again and rub in gently for a few minutes.
Remove excess lather with a towel or tissue without rinsing.
Dosage
The dose of topical sulfur will be various

the average doses of topical sulfur
If your dose is

Adults and children Use the 5 to 10% ointment one or two times
a day.

Adults and children Use the 6% ointment each night for three
nights.
Missed dose If you miss a dose of this drug, use it as
soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the
missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.
Storage To store this drug:
-
Keep out of the reach of children.

Store away from heat and direct light.
-
Keep the cream, lotion and ointment forms of this drug from
freezing.

Do not keep outdated drug or drug no longer needed. Be sure
that any discarded drug is out of the reach of children.
