Description Drug

Sulfasalazine - sul-fa-SAL-a-zeen, a sulfa drug, is using to prevent and treat inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis. It works inside the bowel by helping to reduce the inflammation and other symptoms of the disease. Sulfasalazine is sometimes given with other medication to treat inflammatory bowel disease.

Sulfasalazine is also using to treat rheumatoid arthritis in diseaseds who have not been helped by or who can't tolerate other medication for rheumatoid arthritis.
