Along with its needing effects, a drug may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention. While you are in the hospital or in your family doctor's office, your family doctor or nurse will carefully follow the effects of any drug you have received. However, some effects may not be noticed until later.
