Pregnancy care

Studies have not been done in pregnant women. However, studies in pets given large doses of risedronate have shown that this drug causes decreased weight gain, cleft palate and deformed bones in the fetus, and, in some cases, death of the fetus.

Breast-feeding problem

It is not known whether risedronate passes into milk. However, it does pass into the milk in pets. Discuss with your family doctor whether or not to breast-feed while you are being treated with this drug.

Use for Children

There is no special info comparing use of risedronate in child with use in other age groups.

Elderly care

Risedronate has been tested in elderly diseaseds and has not been found to cause various side effects or problems in elderly people than it does in adults people.
