Description Drug

Oxytocin - ox-i-TOE-sin is a hormone using to help start or continue labor and to control bleeding after delivery. It is also sometimes using to help milk secretion in breast-feeding.

Oxytocin may also be using for other conditions as determined by your family doctor.

In general, oxytocin must not be using to start labor unless there are specific medical reasons . Be sure you have discussed this with your family doctor before receiving this drug.
