Before Using

Allergic reaction

Pregnancy care
Nateglinide has not been studied in pregnant women.
However, studies in pets have shown that nateglinide causes birth defects.

Breast-feeding problem
It is not known whether nateglinide passes into
human breast milk. However, nateglinide is not recommended during breast-feeding,
because it may cause unwanted effects in nursing babies

Studies on this drug have been done only in
adult diseaseds and there is no special info comparing use of nateglinide
in child with use in other age groups.
Elderly care
This drug
has been tested and has not been shown to cause various side effects or
problems in elderly people than it does in adults people. However, older diseaseds
may be more likely to develop low blood sugar.
Drug interactions

The presence of other medical problems may effect the use of nateglinide.
Make sure you tell your family doctor if you have any other medical problems, especially:
