Allergic reaction

Tell your family doctor if you have any unusual or allergy to memantine. Also tell your family doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to any other substances, such as foods, preservatives, or dyes.

Pregnancy care

Memantine has not been studied in pregnant women. However, memantine has not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems in animal studies.

Breast-feeding problem

It is not known whether memantine passes into breast milk. Although most medication pass into breast milk in small amounts, many of them may be using safely when breast feeding. Mothers who are taking this drug and who wish to breast feed must discuss it with their family doctor.

Use for Children

Studies on this drug have only been done in adult diseaseds and there is no special info comparing the use of memantine in child with use in other age groups. This drug is generally not using in child.

Elderly care

This drug has been studied in older adults and has not been shown to cause various side effects or problems in elderly people than it does in adults people.

Kidney disease diseaseds with severe kidney disease must not use memantine, diseaseds with mild or moderate kidney disease may need to take a smaller amount of memantine.

Urinary tract problems
Urinary tract blockage memantine may make these conditions worse

Epilepsy or history of seizures memantine may make this medical condition worse
