Dosage

To make monthly injectable contraceptives as safe and reliable as possible, you must understand how and when to take them and what effects may be expected Follow your family doctor's orders .

For injection dosage form:
- For contraception
  - Adults 0.5 milliliters - mL injected into a muscle in the upper arm, upper thigh or in the buttocks every 28 to 30 days.

Missed dose If you miss having your next injection by day 33 your family doctor will want to rule out pregnancy before the drug is given to you again. Another method of birth control must be using until your period begins or until your family doctor determines that you are not pregnant and you are able to have the drug again.
