In deciding to using a medication,

Allergic reaction
Tell your family doctor if you have any unusual or
allergy to lodoxamide. Also tell your health care professional if
you are allergic to any other substances, such as foods, preservatives, or
dyes.
Pregnancy care
Lodoxamide has not been studied in pregnant women.
However, lodoxamide has not been shown to cause birth defects or other problems
in animal studies.
Breast-feeding problem
It is not known whether lodoxamide passes into
the breast milk. Although most medication pass into breast milk in small amounts,
many of them may be using safely while breast-feeding. Mothers who are using
this drug and who wish to breast-feed must discuss this with their family doctor.
Use for Children
Studies on this drug have been done only in adult
diseaseds and there is no special info comparing use of lodoxamide
in child up to 2 years of age with use in other age groups. For older children,
this drug is not expected to cause various side effects or problems
than it does in adults.
Elderly care
Many medication have not been studied specifically
in elderly people. Therefore, it may not be known whether they work exactly
the same way they do in adults people or if they cause various side effects
or problems in elderly people. There is no special info comparing use
of lodoxamide in the elderly with use in other age groups.
