Interferon beta-1a - in-ter-FEER-on BAY-ta is using to treat the relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis - MS. This drug will not cure MS, but it may slow some disabling effects and decrease the number of relapses of the disease.

Interferon beta-1a is also using to treat genital warts.
