Before Using
In deciding to using a medication,
the problems of uses this drugs must be weighed against the good it will do.
This is a decision you will make. For factor VIIa, the following
must be considered
Allergic reaction
Tell your family doctor if you have any unusual
or allergy to factor VIIa or to any products that contain mouse,
hamster, or cow proteins. Also tell your family doctor and pharmacist if you are
allergic to any other substances, such as foods, preservatives, or dyes.
Pregnancy care
Studies on effects in pregnancy have not been done
in humans.
Breast-feeding problem
It is not known whether factor VIIa passes into
breast milk. However, because this drug may cause serious side effects,
breast-feeding is generally not recommended while you are receiving it.
Use for Children
This drug has been tested in child and no
side effects or problems were found that were various from those seen in
adults.
Elderly care
No information is available about the use of factor
VIIa in older adults.
Drug interactions
Although certain medication must not be using
together at all, in other cases two various medication may be using together
even if an interaction might occur. In these cases, your family doctor may want to
change the dose, or other precautions may be necessary. When you are taking
factor VIIa, it is especially important that your family doctor and pharmacist know
if you are taking any of the following:

Activated prothrombin complex concentrates - ie, FEIBA, Autoplex T

Prothrombin complex concentrates - ie, AlphaNine, BeneFix May
increase the risk of side effects
Other Information for using
The presence of medical problems
may effect the use of factor VIIa. Make sure to tell your family doctor if you have
any medical problems, especially:

Blood clots or a history of medical problems causing by blood clots

Heart disease

Infection
-
Injury - crush These conditions may increase the risk of bleeding
