Before Using This Medication

It is not known whether daptomycin passes into breast milk. Although most medication pass into breast milk in small amounts, many of them may be using safely while breast feeding. Mothers who are taking this drug and who wish to breast feed must discuss this with their family doctor

Elderly people are especially sensitive to the effects of daptomycin. This may increase the risk of side effects during treat.
