Before Using
In deciding to using a medication,
the chance of taking the drug must be weighed against the good it will
do. This is a decision you will make. For cytarabine, the

Allergic reaction
Tell your family doctor if you have any unusual or
allergy to cytarabine.
Pregnancy care
This drug may cause birth defects - such as defects
of the arms, legs, or ears, which occurred in two babies if either the male
or female is taking it at the time of conception or if it is taken during
pregnancy. In addition, many cancer medication may cause sterility. Although
sterility has been reported with this drug, it is usually only temporary.Be sure that you have discussed this with your family doctor before taking this
drug. It is best to use some kind of birth control while you are receiving
cytarabine. Tell your family doctor right away if you think you have become pregnant
while receiving cytarabine.
Breast-feeding problem
Because cytarabine may cause serious side effects,
breast-feeding is generally not recommended while you are receiving it.
Use for Children
Although there is no special info comparing
use of cytarabine in child with use in other age groups, this drug
is not expected to cause various side effects or problems in child than
it does in adults.
Elderly care
Many medication have not been studied specifically
in elderly people. Therefore, it may not be known whether they work exactly

uric acid in the body, which can cause gout or kidney stones
