How to Use

At first, cyproterone often causes loss of strength and energy or tiredness. However, these effects are lessened after about the third month of treat and it is very important that you continue to receive this medication.

This medication must not be discontinued even if improvement of the disease occurs.

Dosage

The dose of cyproterone will be various for various diseaseds. For oral dosage form:
- For treating prostate cancer:
  - Adults 100 to 200 milligrams - mg - 2 to 4 tablets a day divided into 2 to 3 doses and taken after meals.

For injection dosage form:

  - Adult 300 mg - 3 mL injected into a muscle once a week.

Missed dose If you miss a dose of this drug, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.

Storage To store this drug:

Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not store in the bathroom, near the kitchen sink, or in other damp places. Heat or moisture may cause the drug to break down.
