How to Use

To help loosen mucus or phlegm in the lungs, drink a glass of water after each dose of this drug , unless otherwise directed by your family doctor.

Take this drug only as directed . Do not take more of it and do not take it more often than recommended on the label, unless otherwise directed by your family doctor. To do so may increase the risk of side effects.

For diseaseds taking the extended-release capsule or tablet form of this drug :

For diseaseds taking a combination drug containing an antihistamine andaspirin or other salicylate :

If a combination drug containing aspirin has a strong vinegar-like odor, do not use it . This odor means the drug is breaking down. If you have any questions about this, check with your pharmacist.

Missed dose If you must take this drug regularly and you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double doses.
