Allergic reaction

Breast-feeding problem

It is not known whether cilostazol passes into human breast milk. However, cilostazol has been shown to pass into the breast milk of rats. Cilostazol is not recommended during breast-feeding because it may cause unwanted effects in nursing babies.

Use for Children

Studies on this drug have been done only in adult diseaseds and there is no special info comparing the use of cilostazol in child with use in other age groups.

Elderly care

This drug has been tested in a limited number of diseaseds and has not been shown to cause various side effects or problems in elderly people than it does in adults people.

Drug interactions

Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors - fluoxetine " Prozac ", fluvoxamine " Luvox ", paroxetine " Paxil ", sertraline " Zoloft " Use with these medication may cause high levels of cilostazol, which may increase the risk of side effects

The presence of other medical problems may effect the use of cilostazol. Make sure you tell your family doctor if you have any other medical problems, especially:

Congestive heart failure
