Before Using
In deciding to using a medication,

Allergic reaction
Tell your family doctor if you have any unusual or
allergy to becaplermin, parabens, or metacresol. Also tell your
health care professional if you are allergic to any other substances, such
as foods, preservatives, or dyes.
Pregnancy care
Studies on effects in pregnancy have not been done
in either humans or pets.
Breast-feeding problem
It is not known whether becaplermin passes into
the breast milk. However, this drug has not been reported to cause problems
in nursing babies.
Use for Children
Although there is no special info comparing
use of becaplermin in child 16 years of age or older with use in other
age groups, this drug is not expected to cause various side effects
or problems in child than it does in adults. This drug has not been
studied in child up to 16 years of age.
Elderly care
Many medication have not been studied specifically
in elderly people. Therefore, it may not be known whether they work exactly
the same way they do in adults people or if they cause various side effects
or problems in elderly people. There is no special info comparing use
of becaplermin in the elderly with use in other age groups.
Drug interactions
Although certain medication must not be using
